Here is the full review of arguably the best mouse out there, not tailored to gaming. If you want to read my first impressions, click here.
There also happens to be a lot to say about this mouse as well. The mouse is extremely comfortable in the hand, enabling me to use the mouse for hours and hours, due to the superior ergonomics of the mouse. The mouse provides a good resting place for your thumb, so you can easily access the horizontal scrolling wheel. Everything is very well designed for comfort and usability, a real strong point of the mouse.
The mouse literally moulds around your hand. In regards to the horizontal scrolling wheel, this is quite convenient to have, from having only one scrolling wheel on my previous mouse.
I can use this for editing and the like, and it cuts down the time for editing a video substantially. Next to the scrolling wheel (horizontal), there are back and forward buttons, which was a downgrade from the previous generation of mice from Logitech, as these buttons are in comparison to the scrolling wheel, inconvenient.
The software somehow magically comes up with a prompt as soon as you pair the mouse with your device, asking you to install the software. As soon as you install the software, it is exceptionally user friendly, and is easy to get your way around. Where your thumb rests, there is a button that can be programmed to do any function, like for example if I press the thumb button, it will take me to ‘This PC’. The software obviously isn’t much more than to change the scroll speed, the smart shift sensitivity, and all the other buttons.
The smart shift is the mouse’s smart way of knowing when to switch the scrolling wheel from ratchet, to free scrolling.
Availability And Specs
This is available in most places, as it’s a prodcut by Logitech. I managed to get this for £42 off eBay, and you can get a similar deal if you scour the internet, but i will link the retail prices of £70/$60 (It’s cheaper in the United States):

Pros And Cons
- Really ergonomic mouse
- Premium materials
- Buttons are placed conveniently
- Unmatched comfort
- Easy to use software
- Too expensive
- Back and forward buttons are a step down from previous generation
- Soft touch material scratches too easily
Overall, this mouse isn’t perfect. Of course, it isn’t possible to add all of these features, and make an affordable mouse, but £70 for mouse could be quite a high asking price. Don’t buy this unless you have considered that you will utilise all of the features of this mouse, or if you can find this cheaper anywhere else (quite easy to find this mouse very cheap elsewhere). This mouse is arguably the best of the best, and it has price tag to suit it.
