If you can’t tell already, these are some good looking earphones in gold, and only cost £12, less than Langsdom’s R9’s which cost £14. It is clear that most of the attention has been given to the aesthetics of the earphones, being metal with a gold finish. The sound of these headphones unfortunately doesn’t live up to my expectations of nice, punchy bass. The highs at increased volume can be piercing, at least to me, with the mids faring better. However considering the price point, the sound isn’t going to be like any expensive headphones.
Sound And Design
The sound of these earphones is good for the price. The sound is all mainly down to preference, but these are definitely not for the bass loving kind of person. The highs and mids are more prominent in these earphones, meaning that if you are a lover of bass, you are unfortunately left out.
In terms of the design, it is clear Langsdom has paid much attention to the aesthetics of the M400’s. The earphones are made of metal, which is quite mindblowing at this price. There are silicone ear-tips, which I personally find comfortable, but can’t stay in my ear properly. The cable is similar to that of the R9’s by Langsdom, which appears to be nylon, and wrapped in a sort of plastic. The cable isn’t as thick, but still remains a little tangle free.
In The Box
You get a nice, gold and white packaging to begin with. As you open the box, you find your earphones with an inline remote. You also get a user guide and three pairs of ear-tips: S, M, L. If that wasn’t enough there is also a clip to put onto your shirt. The silicone tips, I personally have never liked them as they never can stay in my ears, however preference varies when it comes to what you find comfortable or not.
